Our award winning so soft and stretch Bamboo/Organic cotton Terry Prefolds represent economy, versatility and adjustability. These “new age squares” are fantastic especially for newborn babies who tend to wee alot. Prefolds are made with the absorbency layers already sewn in to eliminate the nappy origami of old. We recommend putting one of our universal boosters down the middle to add absorbency as needed.

These newborn Bamboo/Organic Cotton Stretch Terry prefolds have a 2 3 2 layer configeration and measure approx 40 x 36cm wide and fit from birth to approx 7.5kg or 6 months. Absorbent and providing a great fit because of the soft stretcy fabric, these are great for newborns. Extra boosting for absorbency can be added as required with our universal size booster placed down the middle. These boosters are highly recommended as bubs will wee more as they grow rapidly during these early months.
They can also be recycled into absorbency boosters in other nappies when they become too small for your little one. They are also easier to dry and mold to fit the shape of your baby. They are a symbol of sustainablity with economy and a little reminder of the pioneering ways of our mothers (the regular square terry flats) with the luxury of our modern day water saving washing machines that make life easy.
We’ll show you how to fold them upon purchase and you will also need a snappi fastener which we sell. A small sized hand-knitted SHP wool cover completes this most natural and simple of all newborn nappy systems.
