These Bamboo/Organic Cotton Fleece with Velour against skin are ideal for breasts/nipples that are extremely tender to the touch especially just after birth when breastfeeding is being established or if suffering from Mastitis. They are not made for max absorbency but for light-med flow and sensitive breasts. They can be used in conjunction with an extra breastpad if flow is heavy.
Description
Mothers` breasts, where baby spends much of it`s early life, should be cared for with the most natural products that facilitate comfort, absorbency and hygiene. I don’t advocate using synthetic fabrics on your breasts. Breastpads should be changed regularly to minimise external bacteria growth. We highly recommend at least 6 pairs for changing frequently in the beginning. For heavy flow consider using two on top of each other to double the absorbency.
The differences between the choices are based on texture and absorbency. If suffering from Mastitis we recommend the velour option and use the velour side to skin. If you require larger sizing than 11 cm diameter please contact us as we can custom make to requirements.
